FIRST VISIT

Every stunning smile starts with an initial consultation!

We are always excited about meeting new patients and answering questions concerning orthodontic treatment. During your initial consultation, you will meet and get to know our team and learn more about orthodontics. Your initial visit consists of:

An examination of your dental history and concerns
A thorough oral exam by Dr. Kunkle, including x-rays and images, to determine whether treatment is required

Questions Answered on Your Initial Visit Include:

Is there a condition present that orthodontics can treat?
Is treatment required now, or should treatment be postponed until proper growth, tooth eruption, or other factors have occurred?
What treatment procedures will be used to address the problem?
Do any teeth need to be removed?
How long will treatment take?

We will give you a custom treatment plan and time frame if treatment is recommended. We will also go over financial information, insurance coverage, and payment plan options.

We know your time is valuable, so we may also book time following the exam to take any additional diagnostic records needed to expedite treatment. This appointment will last a little over an hour.

If you have a panoramic x-ray taken within the last six months, please let us know so that we can obtain a copy from your dentist. If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card or information.

FINANCIAL AND INSURANCE

At Caldwell Orthodontics, we can tailor a financial arrangement that meets your budget needs depending on total cost and treatment.

If full payment is made at the onset of treatment or if you have multiple family members undergoing treatment simultaneously, we will offer a discount. The discount will be applied to your co-payment if insurance coverage is involved.

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also offer in-house payment plans to help make your treatment more affordable.
